News · Soccer Teams Land Home Tournament Games (Updated)

The Raider Girls and Boys Soccer teams have both had winning seasons this Fall and both were rewarded with home games as the higher seeded teams in the first round of the Central District Tournament.

The Boys (7-3-6) are seeded 18th out of 48 teams in the Region and have the opportunity to host as the higher seed in both the first AND second round if they are able to win their first round game at home.  Their first round game will be on Weds., Oct 17th (Soccer Stadium at Baldwin Rd JH) vs. 27th seeded Tri-Valley.  A victory there would keep the Raiders at home for a rematch from earlier in the season with Watkins Memorial (30th seed) in the second round on Saturday, October 20th. The complete Central District Boys Soccer Tournament draw can be viewed here:  http://www.cdab.org/sports/so/boys/2018/bd1brkt18.pdf

Meanwhile, the Lady Raiders (9-6-1) are seeded 21st and will play host to 31st seeded Teays Valley on Monday, October 15th at the BRJH soccer stadium.  A victory would send the Girls on to Olentangy Liberty to take on the 16th seeded Patriots of Liberty HS in the second round on Thurs., Oct 18th.  The complete Central District Girls Soccer Tournament draw can be viewed here:  http://www.cdab.org/sports/so/girls/2018/gd1brkt18.pdf
