Boykins shows great patience in Bexley win

Junior Ciara Boykins showed great patience defeating Bexley on third singles Wednesday night and pulled out a straight-set win eventhough the team lost 1-4 Boykins played text-book third singles by staying in the points with patience and took control of most points by moving her opponent around. Raiders Girls Soccer Opening Match

Junior Jadelyn Cheng disposed Grove City quickly on 2nd singles but Tori Bridges and Ciara Boykins played 3 hours to win in a nailbiting 3rd set tie breaker on 1st doublesTuesday night. It was the team’s season opener and the team lost 2-3 … The faces Bexley Wednesday.  

Fall Participation Fee Collection

Athletic Fees will continue to be accepted from 9am-3pm daily in the Athletic Office at the RHS Livingston campus. Reminder that no athlete can compete in any contest until their participation fee is paid in full.

Raider tennis girls elect captains

Junior Tori Bridges and senior Diamond Person were elected co-captains of the team. The rest of the team junior Jadelyn Cheng, junior Ciara Boykins, senior Jessika Acosta-Gorman, sophomores Naomi Pierce and Mariah Wilson and Megan Barnes are looking forward to their first match of the girls season next Tuesday Aug 19 at Grove City.

Fall Sports Parent Mtg. and Fee Collection – 8/14

The Athletic Department will be holding the annual Informational meeting for parents and students participating in Fall sports Grades 7-12. The meeting will be held on Thursday evening August 14th at the Summit HS Campus Auditorium. Thirteen hardy payers trekked north to Ohio Northern University’s girls soccer camp.  Some hot sweaty work was spent on techniques with college coaches.  Pass and move was the by word of the day. Junior High Girls Tennis Goes “Club” – Season Starts Tuesday, Aug. 5

Girls tennis participants in 7th and 8th grade this Fall will be able to enjoy the season on a “club” basis. What that means is that junior high girls tennis will not fall under the school administration, it will be run strictly as club sport.
